We opened a smart classroom in Pannankandy Maha Vidyalayam – Kilinochchi at a cost of Sl Rs 326, 000.00. Smart classrooms are not a novelty in other parts of Sri Lanka. But not in Kilinochchi. Pannankandy Maha Vidyalayam serves a socially down-trodden community in an educationally backward district. The students are very poor and they will make the most of their new gift from Vannivalam and will truly appreciate the people of Montreal.

The Member of Parliament for Kilinochchi, The Government Agent Kilinochchi, The Director of Education, Kilinochchi and several other government officials joined the students on the occasion of opening of the Smart Class Room
